The Broadway musical felt like the REAL "series finale"!

Now obviously it wasn't but it sure felt like the finale to "SpongeBob SquarePants" and nothing the show does from here on out can match it

I mean, the stakes were higher than EVER before!

Am I the only one who thought the musical could double as the grand finale?
