Thinking back to my surf rock and alt rock days, I really liked the band Swimming Tapes. All of their songs had that kind of beachy, ocean feel. Especially Passing Ships and Queen's Parade, from what I can remember. Honestly, just listen to this
album of theirs. It's quite good. I also love the song Fish on The Sand, both the
original by George Harrison, and the
cover by Allah-Las. Speaking of Allah-Las, the song
Fontaine off of their newest album gives me ocean vibes for whatever reason.
I haven't listened to the
Our Brief Encounters EP by Blanket in a while, and I don't think it actually gives ocean vibes from what I remember, but it has an ocean on the album cover and that's close enough for me. Good ambient, prog rock, from what I can remember.
