Today I attended the TVFF, and I have to say it was enjoyable. All the films were "indies" (independent films) obviously, and we had some workshops that I attended as well. The Director of "Walking the Dead" and "The Chocolate War", Keith Gordon, talked to us about directing and working with your actors, as well as a little on producing films. I then watched A.C. Lyles recount his experiences at Paramount Pictures; he has worked there from 1928 to Present, and knew a whole lot of people, including Bing Crosby, and Ronald Reagan. I'd have to say that the most interesting feature production I saw was "Garmento", written, produced, and directed by Michele Maher, and its a very good movie - albiet, its only 87 minutes; but hey, thats a feature film. If you want more info on the movies mentioned above, visit http://www.imdb.com or if you want to find more about the festival, http://www.tviff.com is the place. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I'll be going back next year. Has anyone else attended film fests recently?
