SpongeBob season 9 DVD release date

Hi everyone. I absolutely love Spongebob, and have been waiting for what seems like years for season 9 to be released on DVD. Can anybody give me any information about when the DVD will be released in the UK? I can't seem to find anything about this on the Internet, so many thanks for any information you can provide!!!

That sure is a long time! How come its taking so long because it's been years since season 8? Have any of the season 9 episodes been released on DVD at all?

It's probably going to be a long time until it's released. Nickelodeon's only released 13.5 of its 26 episodes.

I think they should have at least gone back to the old(er) way and released the DVDs in split volumes if it's taking so long. Season 9 Volume 1 for "Extreme Spots"-"SpongeBob You're Fired", Season 9 Volume 2 for "Tutor Sauce"-204.
Better yet...
What if they released The Complete 9th Season with the volume 1 discs, and then allow a free mail-order for the other two Volume 2 discs when they come out? It would be awesome, and you wouldn't have to get them if you don't want to. Anyway, that's just part 1 of 1738 of my ideas... :thumbsup:

I'm actually really surprised they didn't go the 2-volume route considering the first half of the season was pretty much done airing long ago.

if you're impatient for the season DVDs, I'd just get the themed, single-disc sets.

I personally am waiting for the First 100 Episodes blu-ray set, but I know it won't ever happen. Nickelodeon is stupid not to milk SBSP seasons 1-5 for the sixth time by issuing blu-ray. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.
