I know this is something that has been posted many times, but I am very determined to find the scene where Squidward transforms into a snail.

I am NOT talking about the scene where Squidward, Spongebob, and Gary are all snails and sing "Blow the Man Down" and Squidward is hit by a boot

I am talking about a scene, where supposedly right after Squidward says "uh-oh" with the snail plasma in his nose, we see him turn into a snail. People claim to remember seeing it. If anyone remembers that scene, please tell me. Also, if you taped the episode when it first aired, tell me.

On spongebob.wikia.com, it says on the page for Deleted Scenes that the scene remains intact in Polish airings. I want to know if this is true.

The storyboarder for the episode is Steve Fonti, and if anyone knows how I can contact him, I would love to know

I'm sorry, but I highly doubt that that deleted scene exists.

However, I'll try to help you out. As far I can tell, there isn't a way to contact Steve Fonti (who by the way, was the storyboard director).
But, you can get someone even better - Chris Mitchell. Chris wrote and storyboarded the episode.

Chris has several blogs, such as a blogspot and a tumblr. However, he's not regularly active, and his last post on any of them was from at least half a year ago.

Or, you can go for option B, take a risk, and contact his Twitter - ChrisMich77. He is regularly active, but there isn't much proof that it's the one you're looking for, and his closest relation to SpongeBob is a DVD review (or as mentioned on his twitter. Remember that he left in 2007).


So, you have two choices here.

1) Go for the blogs that we know are real, the one that is barely active, write a response, and wait for a long time so you can get a genuine answer.
2) Go for "his" twitter account that we're not sure is real, the one that is usually active, and wait for a short time so you can get an answer that may or may not be from the real guy.

It's your choice.
 
I checked the German version, but it doesn't appear to have the deleted scene you mention. (On that note: The German TV airings also don't show the explosive deleted scene in "Just One Bite", which I was irritated to see.

German title of "I was a teenage Gary" is "Zur Schnecke gemacht" ("Made into snails".. Gee, I wonder what's going to happen in THAT episode. D'oy! - episode title's spoiling the episode.. Ah well. - No, I have seen it already, don't get me wrong here, I just don't appreciate the German title.)

I wonder why they'd cut it? Would it have really been worse somehow than SB's transformation? Or would they have cut it for time constraints?

I hate that they cut scenes. It's one thing if it was dropped pre-animation, but if they've aired it once, leave it the heck alone.

As far as I know, it's only a rumor. It's also been around ages ago. Why should I care if such scene existed though, since I never liked I Was a Teenage Gary to begin with?
 
Wait, there's supposed to be a scene where Squidward is shown transforming into a snail? If it exist, I need to watch it.
