It's a film about bubbles, talking fish, and unidentified creatures with human brains. I can say it wasen't nearly as good as the original Spongebob film, but it's better than some of the episdoes I've seen...
In the film SpongeBob finds a missing half of a amulet wheares he returns to the museum to get it identified. The over half which is found at the museum connects with the missing half and randomly causes I buss to pop up? I think thats what happened, if I'm right you can agree it's pretty messed up. Anyways, the buss takes them to Atlantis where they need to travel by "singing". As wierd as it sounds, the songs where, or even in the whole film, quite relaxing or nice. I've seen a lot of cheesy musicals and THIS is indeed not one of them, so I enjoyed the music. Anyways when the gang arrives at Atlantis they get a tour by the King, I think... Who has a human brain, but that might be for a joke. Members of the tour which are SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, and Sandy get lost or leave the tour one by one, which I belive is a spoof of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. At the end of the tour the King shows the remaining tourists, SpongeBob and Patrick the oldest living bubble, which Patrick accidently pops, when SpongeBob tells the King the King says it was a prop and the real deal was "in has hands". Patrick then again pops it and randomly a swarm of Antlantians start following them ready to cream them, haha. They escape with unnesesary ways when Plankton shows up with a tank. Why? I forget, something about his obbession with wepons. Anyways it turns out the tank only shoots cherry ice cream wich leaves Plankton in troble. Thats when SpongBob leaves and the King makes sure he will never come bank by throwing away the amulet in the trash. Haha.
Well, in reception it was a pretty funny and entirtaning film. Like said not nearly as good as the original film or it's excellent sucessor, Truth or Square. But I enjoyed the songs and entertaning plot of this one, along with the other movies. The film could of, however had less tourisum and had some time to tell us why a buss randomly popped up when the Amulet popped up. If I'm wrong because I haven't seen the film in along time so, yeah, just tell me or call me a dumb dumb I don't know... But yes, overall it was ride of humor and bubble popping action.
