I really like the animation style, it's like how The Peanuts Movie looked like the original comics but updated it.

Plus, Kelly Asbury is the director who also directed Shrek 2 and wrote the story for Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Hmm, it could be a huge step up from Smurfs movies. It doesn't try to be focus on live-action at all, just smurfs. I'm interested in this. Hopefully, it'll be just as good as original series, which I grew up with.
