Should Nickelodeon and the rest of TV use SpongeBob as a reference point when developing new ideas?

I think if more shows want to have a higher success rate, the creators and networks should use past successes like SpongeBob SquarePants as an analysis subject

They need to figure out what made SpongeBob or any other popular series work then apply that to their own ideas!

Nickelodeon ESPECIALLY because SBSP has been their only real breakout hit in almost 2 decades

What do you guys think?

Alternatively, Nick could do what NBC is doing with their summer series "Songland" and turn this into a contest

"The Search for the Next Big NickToon" would be an open talent competition to find Nickelodeon's next big cartoon creator and show

Much like music competition shows using famous singers this show's judges would be Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown, Carolyn Lawrence, Mary Jo Catlett, Lori Alan, Rodger Bumpass,Doug Lawrence, and Dee Bradley Baker

No, they shouldn't because all the shows would just be crappy clones of spongebob. They need to new, actually creative ideas, like when stephen hillenburg came up with spongebob, or when Nick made the loud house. No more sit coms with superheroes or horrible familys. We need creative ideas for cartoons.
