Put quite simply, season 2 of Spongebob Squarepants is peak television. I know I'm not making some groundbreaking statement saying that, but what else is there to say about this season? It retains the same childlike charm from the first season while also making improvements in the joke, writing, and pacing departments making this truly feel like a comedy. Not only that, but the show has expanded into broader and more mature episode concepts, making it a quintessential cartoon for people of any age to enjoy, which is everything the show should really be in my opinion. This season is a must-watch for anyone who wants to get into Spongebob and pretty much everyone else really, and It's definitely a good season. Amazingly enough, the average score for this season remains the same as last time with a 7.82. Guess I was right about the consistency thing lmao
