Season 2: Better on TV or DVD?

Is Season 2 better on the Season 2 release or the TV airings. I'm asking this because I've heard that Spongebob has a pale yellow color on the Season 2 DVD and has his normal color on TV airings, but I can't see if this is correct because I don't have my Season 2 DVD on me at the moment. But is Season 2 better on TV or DVD?

The VHS quality on the broadcast versions makes the episodes look old and nostalgic. But at the same time, the DVD looks cleaner. I still wonder why SpongeBob had major coloring issues when they went from cel to electronic. Other shows that started off as cel, and switched to digital looked competently normal during their first season going digital. Although the first few episodes of season 3 of dexter's lab have horrendous dot crawl. Same thing with Rugrats during it's early digital episodes, Rugrats from 2001 has bad dot crawl.

I’d say TV airings or digital releases are the way to go, unless you can track them all down on the vanilla DVD sets (eg, Sea Stories, Tide and Seek).

I'd rather watch them on DVD, but that is a personal choice.
