Spongebob Season 6 is a very odd case. It's my least favorite and after a little binge watch I decided to talk about it. First I want to rank every episode and how I would rate them and then we will compare to S1-5

So Season 1 to 5 are good seasons. What about season 6?
Well you've seen the stats but which has more good or bad, using mediocre as bad btw

So obviously Season 6 is bad, and it's a shame. As you saw many episodes were in my highest ratings for the previous seasons because I want the show to be the best it can but Season 6 really did the show no favors. Along with many bad episodes I can't see many ideas working i.e The Card, The Splinter, To Squarepants Or Not To Squarepants, Pet Or Pests, Penny Foolish, Dear Vikings, Sun Bleached, Shuffleboarding.
Also many episodes have great Ideas but fall so flat on their face i.e. Toy Store Of Doom, Spongebob Squarepants VS The Big One, Patty Caper, Boating Buddies, The Krabby Kronicle, Cephalopod Lodge, Gone, Plankton's Regular, Gullible Pants, Squid's Visit
An example swap Spongebob for a villian in Squid's Visit or Don't have the boat or ending in Gone, Patty Caper give Mr Krabs a different reason or Boating Buddies cut out the Squid Torture and instead give Squidward and Mrs Puff some chemistry
Aswell though many episodes feel or have many similar aspects to other seasons and that struggles to give it an Identity and as such I don't tend to remember Season 6 for it's great stories and characters but for being the first bad season, the disgusting season and also being the season that also had the first episode I hated.
Penny Foolish was at one point my least favorite episode of the whole show and although I don't think that now the episode did leave a bad stain in my mouth and It was the first episode I truly hated. I used to not like episodes like Karate Island, Can You Spare A Dime?, Pat No Pay and The Inmates Of Summer and remember not enjoying those that much and those being my least favorites but this was the first season to have an episode I absolutely hated. And look now I like Karate Island and CYSAD?
I also hate the animation its needlessly gross and disgusting without needing to be but you have probably heard that from many people.
Another problem is that most episodes are boring. If there not needlessly gross or destroying characters most episodes practically nothing happens. Episodes like Gullible Pants, Shell Shocked and To Squarepants Or Not To Squarepants may be the most boring episodes in the whole show.
On a closing note how do I rate this season after many back and forwards with myself I give this season a 3.5/10.
