I'm sorry for being "predictable" here but this is the best spongebob episode.This is THE spongebob episode. There is no episode that represents Spongebob better. The characters are great here and each one gets there moments. This episode is truly complete. This episode is a complete master piece. It has great jokes like Plankton on the harmonica, band humor, "Big and expensive", and Spongebob's motivational speech. This episode has plenty of iconic moments that represent the series perfectly. This episode also introduced Squilliam, one of the most popular non-main characters. There is also "Sweet Victory" which is one of the best nicktoon songs. It's just so epic and good. The best thing about it is that you would never expect that to be in a Spongebob episode. How creative is that? Finding a rock song and using it in Spongebob! But the real reason this episode shines is it's plot. It's all of Squidward's pride on the line and it's so rewarding to finally see Squidward win (Spoiler). This episode is also great as a single peice. It shows the characters personalities and each has their time to shine. This episode has some cool live action, too. A masterpiece and the the greatest Spongebob episode ever (IMO).

Highlight Character: :squidx: Squidward because the story was about him.

Highlight Moment: Sweet Victory because it's epic.

Still, this episode was perfectly fine but it's just getting way too much attention just because of some song which while great, wasn't even part of the original soundtrack, when many other episodes are more qualified as the best episode ever as a whole. Also, it's brought down by constant death-related jokes. I respect your opinion, though.
