Nickelodeon UK To Change Logo February 15th

Yeah I read about this. I'm quite excited though! I love rebrandings. I hardly watch Nick anymore but I will be watching Nick when I wake up on the 15th. Hopefully EVERYTHING WILL BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE US DESIGN; but whenever I've hoped for that I've gotten my hopes up too much, and it never works out. Except for Disney's channels; they're like a carbon copy of the US ones
 
Well, the new logo's been introduced to Nick UK now. I preferred the splat, but I don't mind the new logo. However, unlike the previous Splat Logo which was placed on the top left corner of the sreen, the new logo is placed on the bottom right corner of the screen.

Yep. Absolutely amazing; I cannot believe they have followed the exact design rules used by Nick US. Even Teen Ick has the new TeenNick logo used in the States; although I haven't watched it on screen yet so I don't know about on-screen logos.

It's great that the logo is in the bottom right now; I think that it's much better putting it there because it doesn't block peoples heads in a TV show. Anyway, a thumbs up from me, even if I prefer pre-2005 Nickelodeon IDs where the Nick logo would transform into anything, before the relaunch they just used the splat logo.
 
Teen Nick logo IS the same... in fact apart from the little break bumpers they use they have the same animations for the logo in the corner of the screen as they have for promos on Teen Nick US where the font sort of changes.

I never really understood why Nick UK had the "TeenNick" block really. The shows that they broadcast during the 2 hours of "TeenNick" are pretty much shown all the time on Nickelodeon UK (Most Nicktoons don't get shown on Nickelodeon UK, they get shown on Nicktoons UK instead, with the exception of a small few like SpongeBob, which is shown on both), so it really makes no difference if Nick UK broadcasts "TeenNick" anyway.

I think it was the only name that could copy from Nick US for an afternoon slot. If they were clever they would have called it AFTERNOONick.
