National EAS Test Yesterday...

Anyone catch the national EAS test yesterday (the 7th) on radio or TV? I didn't. I thought it was 2:20 PST.

...also any scarring childhood memories involving the eas or ebs? please post!!

I actually remember on my PBS station KPBS they would have a scenery photo and actually play pretty music before for the scary test sounds to go over which was weird

I don't have television at the moment (and rarely turn on my clock radio). So no, I didn't hear - or even know - the Emergency Alert System was tested. But it's good they continue to do it. ;)

I don't have television either, but I understand why they have to run those tests. When I was a kid, they were kind of freaky to me at first, but by the time I was a teen, they didn't bother me too much.
