It's no wonder that I ponder at the game, Spongebob Squarepants: Supersponge at how weird it is, with it's horrible and sloppy controls, yet amazing soundtrack and visuals, and that's what makes this game pop for me. So today, I will be telling you guys my top 25 best Supersponge Tracks!
#25: Desert Wasteland and Kelpazoic Jungle. This track captures that Prehistoric feeling (no Grand Dad joke intended) anyways, not much else to say, let's move on.
#24: Fairgrounds. This was an unused track that is unknown. It sounds really bouncy as well, it sounds unfinished, with not many instruments.
#23: Roller Coaster/Snail Race. This track is fun and upbeat. I really like it, and It fits for and attraction.
#22: Precipice Canyon. It sounds like an Underground Circus. It's fun and bouncy, like fairgrounds, but the platforming puzzle with the balloon at the end of the level is HORRIFIC.
#21: Options Menu. It really catches that nautical feeling. And I love all things nautical, so this track leaves a special place in my soul.
#20: Fish Hooks Park. Ahh, how wonderful this track is, it's just so fitting for the level, THE HOOKS! Anyways, this a fast paced track and perfect for athletic stages.
#19: Inside the Whale. This-th-th-thi-... This track... It's so suspenseful and scary, surprised to hear this and number 18 from a spongebob game, also, hero gets swallowed by a whale cliche.
#18: Parasitic Worm...HOLY FISH PASTE! this is intense! It feels like you are getting chased by something big.
#17: Lonely Souls/Last Stop. I love jazz, and this is fast paced and frantic, yet so unfitting for such a dark level title, but the other level it shares the same track is pretty fitting.
#16: Sub-Shark. another awesome jazz track.
#15: Graveyard. this track is spooky, yet pretty jazzy.
#14: Lava Fields.This. track. is SWEET. JAZZ. FIRE.
#13: Thermal Tunnels. The music is chill, but the level gives you a sense of dread.
#12: Road to Rock Bottom. This is also chill.
#11: The Cutscene Track. Not that many instruments, not even mayonnaise, but it's still appealing to the ears and very relaxing.
#10: Sandy's Tree Dome. Dat PS1 Ukulele tho.
#9: Ghost Train. This is pretty calm, and spoopy.
#8: Mother Jellyfish, NOT Mother Brain. A very cool track, chill yet energetic.
#7: Man Ray's Lair. This track is just... mysterious...yet so enjoyable...
#6: Big Wheel and Tunnel of love, yet another chill track, but someone needs to mash this up with Hotline Bling.
#5: Patrick's Party Cutscene. Yet another unused track. very energetic and party-like.
#4: Beta File Select Theme. Sick Beat. All I can say.
#3: Jelly Fields and Downtown Bikini Bottom. One of the best tracks I have ever heard for a Spongebob game, but it does not trump (bing bong) the last 2
#2: Canning Factory. Hmm, how strange, a sailor chanty-like track, then it switches to... POLKA?! Oh well, it does fit with all of the mechanical madness going on.
Leeeet's get rooiiit into...
#1: Industrial Fields and Oil rig. What an AWESOME track. It's a beach-tropical themed track, yet, It's kinda depressing considering the setting and slow tempo. But, It's SO good that it has many remixes and even a Realistic Cover, which is FANTASTIC!
What do you guys think of the game's soundtrack? Let me know!
