My Bottom 55 Worst Spongebob Episodes S1-11

So I have been meaning to name my bottom 50 for a while. I like to focus on the best of this show however I decided I'll just get this over with. The reason it's 55 and not say 20 these episodes are the ones I really dislike watching, I was also planning on doing a bottom 100 but is there even 100 bad episodes? maybe but I don't know. Anyway similar to my top 20 I'm just going to list them and you want a more in depth review just reply and Ill do my job. Also be prepared as there may be a few popular cough cough "Pre Movie" episodes on this list. Lets a go

Fools in April is classic. How do you not like that?

Review Time

Fools In April: The episode begins with Spongebob pranking Gary by saying that they will become peasants causing Gary to start crying and Spongebob saying "April Fools". Soon he pranks himself by making many glasses of lemonade and then the episodes biggest issue starts, the laughing. This episode is almost as bad as Funny Pants when it comes to being irritating anyway more of that later, So Spongebob is on his way to work and Squidward notices its April 1st. He fakes being sick to Mr Krabs but ends up showing up as they prank him by saying he is honored as artist of the month. Then he fakes leaves and then the downfall begins, Spongebob start pranking the customers and will not stop laughing, this part is when I just want to shut the episode off. Funny Pants despite being worse IMO has at least the decency to call it quits quicker than this episode did, also seeing Spongebob's tounge come to life is just strange. The only part I like from this scene is the Ice gag which is also my favorite part of the episode, the other jokes with the spoon/fork and also the smiley face just annoy me as Spongebob laughs like a hyena from something that isn't funny IMO of course, then Squidward having enough pulls a prank on Spongebob which I'm indifferent about, I don't find it funny but I also kinda get his mindset kinda, So Spongebob is in tears and then Squidward feels awful. My next issue is the faces, as you know season 10+ like funny faces

. They can be funny but also can be distracting, this episode sadly I feel like this episode has the distracting side. I don't even find them funny more just well, stupid. So then he tries to apologize and a mini montage of failed attempts to apologize he finally kinda apologizes before having hallucinations and finally breaking down, Spongebob hears and promises not to tell anyone. APRIL FOOLS, that joke was just too predictable for me too find funny I just kinda think it's well, stupid.

And that was Fools In April, It's biggest flaws are a mixture of being annoying, unfunny and well, stupid (love saying that), I understand how some really enjoy it but I also think it shows Pre Movie isn't perfect. Hope I showed why I strongly dislike this one and I actually enjoyed writing this so if there's another episode you wanna hear my thoughts on lemme know
