Mrs Puff's Husband

Not much is known about her love life, but Mrs. Puff once had a husband, Mr. Puff. However, she doesn't like to talk about what happened to him (Mr. Puff was turned into a lamp). In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie there was a dead pufferfish used a lamp in the souvenir store, Shell City, that - along with all the other fish turned into knick-knacks - came back to life when the water from the sprinkler hit it. In an episode of SpongeBob prior to the movie, it was revealed that Mr. Puff had been caught and turned into a lamp as well.

If this is so, then shouldn't her husband have come back to Bikini Bottom by now? And wouldn't he be cross if he caught Mrs Puff having an affair with Old Man Krabs?
