Alex Tew, 21, launched milliondollarhomepage.com after dreaming it up at his family home in Cricklade, Wiltshire. If his site succeeds, he will emerge from university in three years with a degree and a million dollars (543,000) in his bank account.

On the site is a grid of 10,000 boxes, each 100 pixels (10 by 10) in size. Companies can choose from the one million pixels on the site and buy their own for one dollar (54p) each.

allright i don't get this at all. so now ANYBODY could get a million dollars. ok, that's understandable, but what's the point? where would our economy go? having a million dollars would be worth nothing, because the government would need to make so much more cash in order for everyone to have their million dollars. So then, we have extra cash floating around the US.

This is a scheme not to get rich quick, but to get rich quick, then bankrupt the united states

There are NOT 1million squares on there. More likely 100000. Each square is 10pixels.
