Has Tunnel of Glove not aired yet? It was on the Nickelodeon website months and months ago, I remember watching it. :confused:
 
I believe "Tunnel of Glove" has, while "Love That Squid" hasn't, still kinda confusing though. O_o
 
That advert was hilarious! :lol: But I'm surprised they're not airing it on Valentine's Day. :P

I suppose it makes more sense for them ratings-wise to premiere it on Saturday, where they'll get more viewers. :thumb1:

This is at least the 4th time Spongebob has worn a dress. (Girly TeenGirl doesn't count, since it wasn't actually him). The writers aren't exactly quelling people's suspitions about his sexual orientation, are they? I can see die-hard Spandy fans throwing a wobbler over this episode. :xP:
 
Ha! LOVE IT!

I always enjoy the romantic episodes of SB. And since SB did such a good job last time as matchmaker (Krusty Love) this should be fun!

Which reminds me I wonder why the writers never continued with Mr. Krabs & Ms. Puff relationship. I think they made a cute couple <3

It's probably just because Spongebob is one of those shows where everything "resets" at the end of every episode, as opposed to sitcom-type shows like The Simpsons or Family Guy where the story will occasionally progress and stay that way for future episodes.
In "Summer Job", Mr Krabs acts like he's never even seen Mrs Puff before, never mind dated her. :P

So what did you guys think of the episodes? I liked love that squid alot more than Tunnel of Glove. I usually like the episodes with Pearl but this was kinda a let down.

It was the other way around for me. I usually hate episodes with Pearl but I much preferred Tunnel of Glover over Love That Squid. Spongebob's falsetto voice really grated on me and the plot had a fanfictiony feel to it; Squilvia was just a generic Mary Sue. I did find some parts funny but the plot just didn't do anything for me.
 
Did "Perfect Chemistry" air yesterday or did Nickelodeon make a mistake on their TV schedule?

Btw, with Squidward pretty much dating spongebob, patrick hitting on SB, I think the writers are catering to the fangirls at this point.
 
I was impressed by Tunnel of Glove, even though I had already seen it. I still laughed. (Creepy crawly clowns! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!)

And SpongeBob was cross dressing?

And yeah, I really liked Tunnel of Glove too, mainly for Patrick's performance.
"I unfortunately don't know who that dullard is", and "I'll just gingerly lean against this wall". I love it when they give Patrick smart-sounding lines, it reminds me of how he used to be. A bit thick, but subtly clever as well; there was an idiot savant thing going on. I'm glad they're bringing that back because it adds depth to his character.
I also didn't find Pearl as grating as I usually do and she had some funny lines.
"Spongebob, why are you talking to me?"

Yeah I enjoy seeing Squidward win sometimes. I was sure Squilvia was going to dump him when she heard Squid blessing SB out but it was a nice surprise at the end. And Patrick cross dressing as well, it doesnt get any better than that.

Yeah maybe the writers were catering to the fangirls but so what, its time they threw us a bone; it seems that so many of the new episodes are geared towards boys.

And yeah, I really liked Tunnel of Glove too, mainly for Patrick's performance.

Really?? Thats what bugged me the most about Tunnel of Glove was Patrick's stupidity. Normally i enjoy when they dumb patrick up but for some reason it didnt work for me. Even when he is ultra dumbed up its usually funny but the whole patrick confusing an electrical box for SB just didnt do anything for me. :umm: But i must admit after i watched this episode a 2nd time i did enjoy Pearl's part a bit more. Maybe its just an episode that has to grow on me.

It was more that he had clever dialogue. He was stupid, but to be honest I don't think he was any stupider than in "Spongeguard on Duty" where he misread "Do not cross" as "Ice cream" and nearly drowned.
Actually, I think what pleased me the most was that they didn't use the "Patrick has one tooth" joke. The tooth was nowhere to be seen (as far as I remember), so I was able to look at him without cringing. :peace:

Ha! I would beg to differ, Patrick's dumbest episode has to be Big Pink Loser. But thats kinda what I mean, I usually enjoy his over-the-top stupidity but it just didn't work here, for me anyway.


Love that Squid had more visiual jokes that i enjoy but idk, Tunnel of Glove was just meh. Don't get me wrong it wasn't the worst episode but comparing the 2 Love that Squid was just better.

And honestly I like Patrick's one tooth. :xP: It makes him look even more goofy when he smiles, idk i just like it. :teef:
