I didn't think Ghoul Fools was THAT good, but I did like it a lot.

I love Ghoul Fools. The story is a little mess but the jokes and cool dark animation is enough for me to consider as one of the best season 8 episodes.

I hate it when people abbreviate. I can understand with long titled well known episodes like Krusty Krab Training Video or A Pal For Gary, but who's going to know what FOAKP means? Lol, sorry for my raging it's just a pet peeve of mine :P

You know, there's always an episode in every cartoon where one character goes cross-dressing for what ever reason. This show certainly have never done that. Yeah, it's nice to see a show rebelling against the familiarity of an overus-aaand here we are. I'm not saying I hate it when a character goes cross-dressing. It's been done quite very oftenly but can still prove to be a very potent weapon for comedy. What I haven't seen is an entire cartoon episode based around a character cross-dressing. Most of the time, it's always part of a "plan".
My take on 'handsome Squidward'
And this episode definitely went in the right direction in terms of executing this type of plot. It adds a lot of uncertainty because, one, this type of plot is uncharted territoty for the show, and two, the cross-dressing character is beyond our predictions. But the main part of the episode came when Krabs and Squidward fell in love with 'Patricia'. Once the episode got to this point, it can pull off anything it wants, because whatever it gives us it will be hilarious.
