It's been 5 years today since Lost in Bikini Bottom/Tutor Sauce first came out.

What were your feelings on them when they were first aired?

I only watched bits of Season 9B, that's it. Haven't checked the other seasons yet. I guess I didn't care for the show anymore.

Wow, it's hard to believe it's been so long. Right before the sequel aired I was already saying that the quality of SpongeBob was trending upwards, and the post-sequel episodes really proved that for me. I can't remember which new episodes I watched first, but I know that Mall Girl Pearl and Married to Money were up there, those premiered in 2016. I loved those episodes a lot.

That's insane! I enjoyed both those episodes. 5 years has never felt so brief. 9B had its own feel and I really enjoyed it. To me, 9B specifically was the closing of the chapter of high quality spongebob. First episode of season 10 with the animation overhaul and gross out humor started my declining hope of the show. Crazy how 9B isn't even 'new' spongebob anymore
