Is SpongeBob SquarePants the most overrated show currently on TV?

It's more that I'm hating on Nickelodeon for running it into the ground

It depends on if you’re talking about the show as a whole or just Season 1-3. Of course those seasons have a massive legacy built up over the years, but it’s not like they were this groundbreaking achievement in pop culture, it was just a fun little comedy that did its job super-well.

This is a very subjective question and the answer could be anything. Personally, I don't believe Spongebob is the most overrated; I believe there are shows that are even more overrated out there.

Lol do you even like this show at all... you do realize you don't have to watch Nickelodeon right? You can still appreciate the old episodes on DVD, the way that the show is promoted doesn't hurt the actual show's quality.

Honestly, that's a pretty subjective question. I'd definitely say the newer stuff is overrated - otherwise, not really.
