I'm actually not for this, not because I'm against nostalgia or callbacks or anything, but I honestly can't imagine anyone but Tiny Tim singing that version of the song (it's originally from the 1930 movie The Big Pond; Tiny Tim's cover is from 1968). Despite that, the song does fit SpongeBob's cheery and upbeat personality, so I can see how him singing it makes sense, it just might not be for me.

I kinda agree with you. i just can't imagine Spongebob singing that song with his voice...
