I joined just over 3 years ago and, like you, was too nervous to post until a certain point, that point for me being February 9th 2021 (see the bottom of page 7 of my profile). I started posting on a regular basis somewhen last year and became a moderator on November 19th, but didn't make a thread about it until a few days later on the 22nd.
