The 1st Episode of the Nicktoon, The Mighty B (2008), actually gave special thanks to Stephen Hillenburg in its Credits. I think they did this because SpongeBob was a big inspiration for the show. The creator of Ren and Stimpy was also given special thanks, as it also inspired the Mighty B. I guess this is the show's way of citing its sources haha. It's nice that Hillenburg was credited though. Interesting huh? I'm almost certain Hillenburg had no involvement in the Mighty B. But some people that worked on SpongeBob also worked on this show though.

That's cool! I watched The Mighty B a little bit when I was a kid and I remember it being really gross and freaking me out.

Yeah it's pretty interesting. When I was younger, I was confused why his name was in the credits. Yeah it did get a little too gross at times.
