It's a good thing they changed the palette for Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (1999) for the Game Boy Color.
Luigi's basic palette was changed from the NES version's white overalls/green shirt to green overalls/brown shirt (to mirror Mario's basic color palette), while his basic NES color palette is now used for Fire Luigi.
Mario's basic color palette of red overalls/brown shirt stays the same, while the white overalls/red shirt, which used to be the palette for both Fire Mario and Fire Luigi on the NES is now exclusive to Fire Mario in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the Game Boy Color.
