My favorite was in "Christmas Who?" when he pretended to be Santa.

I love these parts, I wish the new episodes would bring them back a little more.

Yeah, the only time I remember this in a later season is in "Yeti Krabs" when he thinks Mr. Krabs is bullying SpongeBob and tries to scare "Mr. Krabs" back. He was also surprisingly nice to Patrick in "Patrick's Coupon".

My favorite time when Squidward was nice to SpongeBob would probably be in Dying for Pie as it shows that Squidward can care for SpongeBob despite showing the opposite 90% of the time.
