I can definitely see some similarities to Star. But maybe there'll be enough differences to avoid being called a carbon copy. People have said that Penn Zero: Part Time Hero and SVTFOE are similar because of the whole different dimensions thing, but it looks like Penn Zero is doing something different with the concept at least.
