Do you prefer SpongeBob's innocent sweet side OR his grown-up mature side?

I think one of the things that drew me to the character was how he could be childlike and innocent yet also has a mature "take charge" side

Not many other cartoon characters have that and it's what makes SpongeBob SquarePants (the character) special!

Personally, I like both sides

But in the recent episodes I haven't seen much of SpongeBob's mature side

Only his childish side

Do you think we'll see his mature side make a comeback soon?

I think he's more amusing when he's childlike and sweet, but like many, I never like it when he's childish to the point of being annoying. That's when I miss his more mature side.

A perfect example of what I'm talking about is in the episode "Texas" where SpongeBob and Patrick make fun of Texas and Patrick says: "Can we say that SHOES from Texas are dumb?" then SpongeBob says: "Okay, that's enough!"

SpongeBob knew Patrick was going too far and stopped him

I kind of dislike SpongeBob in Doodle Dimension when compared to FrankenDoodle
