Do we need a REAL SpongeBob SquarePants anime?

I am talking about a real SBSP anime produced in Japan

I think they could do an amazing job (and perhaps even surpass the American show) if it was in the right hands but Nickelodeon hates Japan so it won't happen

A one-off anime episode could be interesting. I've been thinking for a while that they should occasionally bring in guest animators to make episodes like Adventure Time did.

Also, while SpongeBob would probably lose all of his charm and appeal in an anime format it would also be a chance to create a NEW version of SpongeBob SquarePants with an all-new kind of charm & appeal
