Did you guys enjoy the TV adaptation of the Broadway musical?

It was okay and MUCH better than I thought!

I even felt sorry for Squidward when he was performing his number "Not a Loser"

At first, I was skeptical about the decision of transitioning SpongeBob SquarePants to Broadway but they managed to pull it off!

I thought it was great! I feel as though those who are not very familiar with SpongeBob could potentially consider it “annoying”, due to some of the voices and songs, but honestly, as a mega SpongeBob fan who was originally skeptical about this musical hoopla, I genuinely found it heartwarming and extremely entertaining. A SpongeBob musical? Usually the word musical brings about negative connotations, with some thinking that any musical adaption is bound to be cringey. But this was something really special. Almost surreal.

I didn't watch it because seeing the characters as real people creeps me out. They should make an animated version.

I think the musical was higher-quality than most of the newer episodes
