Well the alien cats thing sure seems.... weird. But I'll admit it does make me more curious to what the plot of the final movie will be

I feel a bit better knowing it’s gonna be about camp now. Making two unrelated movies in a row featuring space animals feels like overkill. Also, it’s pretty strange seeing SpongeBob in a 2:35:1 (cinematic) aspect ratio, even in just a planning phase.
