Cartoon Network is getting purged by Discovery, and will probably not exist in a year as it will be dissolved into WB Animation...
Streaming services are pretty much becoming the norm now...Hard to believe. But cable is pretty much dead now, so it's not the end of the world.

I've been observing the death of cable TV, and now people are shifting towards streaming services to watch what they want now. Much of the content that used to be on cable TV is found on Disney+, Paramount+, HBO Max, Peacock, VUDU, Hulu, Apple TV, etc.Cable's been dying since at least 2015......
The merger between Warner Media and Discovery is causing Warner Bros. Discovery to kill off Cartoon Network, and place much of the network's content into Warner Bros. Animation.Wait can someone explain this to me
So cn is just becoming a part of wb instead of it being independent So r.i.p cnThe merger between Warner Media and Discovery is causing Warner Bros. Discovery to kill off Cartoon Network, and place much of the network's content into Warner Bros. Animation.
I saw it coming with the decline in cable TV subscriptions and rise in streaming media services...So cn is just becoming a part of wb instead of it being independent So r.i.p cn
Yeah hopefully cable decline doesn't affect sbI saw it coming with the decline in cable TV subscriptions and rise in streaming media services...
The people at Paramount are ready for when the decline of cable TV affects SpongeBob, by offering the cartoon on Paramount+ and Pluto TV's Nickelodeon channel.Yeah hopefully cable decline doesn't affect sb
Yeah Paramount has a popular stream service sb is safeThe people a Paramount are ready for when the decline of cable TV affects SpongeBob, by offering the cartoon on Paramount+ and Pluto TV's Nickelodeon channel.
yeah i saw HBO max doing it sad day for cnThis reminds me of how Hanna-Barbara got shut down...
Also this isn't just effecting CN, it's also effecting the characters as some shows were taken off of HBO Max and video's of them that were published on the Cartoon Network YouTube channel got taken down.
Plus Discovery...Honestly I think this whole thing is just dumb on HBO's part, especially with the removal of all the shows. They're taking down OK K.O. and Infinity Train for underperformance? There's probably hundreds - or even thousands - of people who bought the service just for one of those shows (or both). HBO Max honestly isn't worth my time (or $14.99 a month for that matter). If Cartoon Network fails as a result, it's not their fault imo, it's the fault of Warner Bros. and HBO Max.
It's like order 66 hopefully there will be survivor to save itPlus Discovery...
