I asked Mom and Dad if they remember a show called Candle Cove that ran from 1971-1972. They said no, so I described it. My Mom says she vaguely remembers a pirate ship with a face, but nothing else. I only told Mom at that point, so a few days later, she told my Dad and told me that he said no to it. I then described it once more, and my Mom finally remembered it. Yes. The truth is, Candle Cove is fake. Litterally. Candle Cove was a TV show inside of another show. It was a mystery show, like Scooby Doo, and sometimes they mentioned Candle Cove. They even showed it inside of the show sometimes. Sort of like The Justice Friends on Dexter's Laboratory. A show inside of a show. My Mom remembers a Skeleton(Skin Taker) and the talking boat(Laughingstalk). The real answer was "Candle Cove was a TV Show inside of a TV Show." So, bottomline, Candle Cove was never it's own show. It was part of another one.
