Can anyone say how Oral Report is good?

It's one of my most detested episodes. Patrick was insufferable, the plot was boring, the underwear was creepy and disturbing, and Mrs. Puff got arrested for no reason at all.

Please use the episode discussion topic for this kind of stuff.

Note: I copy-pasted this from a review a while back and a few thing may be dated, but I still stand by loving this episode.

I believe this episode wasn't really hated until it clocked in at #3 on the Top Ten Worst Patprick Episodes, and it would be #1 if he ranked them on the ones he hated watching the most. I do not have much against it this time, since it still is a Patprick episode, but I do not believe it was the main problem. In fact, Mr. Enter said there were many more problems, however I disagree with all of which. First of all, I found this episode relatable. It really captures the feeling of the fear of public speaking. Let's face it, everyone has had this fear. I felt this feeling a couple times in my life. Now for the whole Patrick thing, I actually found it one of the rare times it was enjoyable. It was pretty cartoonishly exaggurated forms of it, because really, if I didn't think that, I'd hate many great shows like Ed, Edd and Eddy or Robot and Monster. He didn't really do much harm other than bring his fear up, which I believe helped the episode as it created much more tension. The Squidward torture aspect, it was fine, it was short and cartoony. In fact if I hated that I should hate stuff like Aargh!. Sandy is hinted at doing illegal stuff, but it was quick and it was pretty funny. And all the other jokes worked very well. And it ended with SpongeBob conquering his fear, which left the episode end on a good note, besides Mrs. Puff getting arrested, which was really the only part I didn't like. And Patrick gets his commeupance for once. Overall, it was a huge pat in the back compared to Season 7's horrors. Unfortunately, the horrors came back soon after, when Drive Thru aired, even though after Demolition Doofus (the second-worst episode ever, IMO), things changed for the better.

For the ability to be able to relate to SB, you have to have a fear of public speaking, but I don't, so it didn't affect me. For the Patrick thing, I found him absolutely insufferable. He just made the problem worse. The tension was nonexistent, since we all knew SB was never gonna get his license anyway. The Squid Torture bothered me a bit, but it's not a major problem. And how is Sandy doing something illegal funny? That's like saying someone who just committed genocide is funny. I thought almost none of the jokes work, and SB did conquer his fear, but he got no reward out of it. I can't remember, but I don't think Patrick got a comeuppance.

well who cares
it was funny. 8/10. There./endreview

It was very funny and had one of the best faces ever in it! (The Patrick avatar I usually have, but temporarily changed in honor of the nose fad.)

Patrick was so hilariously funny in it and it was great. Maybe I should do an Underrated Episodes or whatever I called it post about it. Been a while since I did that. :P

I remember giving it a 6/10. I don't hate it but I don't particularly find it that great. And that scene with the talking underwear never creeped me out ever. End of story.

I kinda like it. Why? I have no I idea, I feel it's kinda enjoyable.

There's my opinion, no need to make a long, convoluted paragraph.

I'm gonna stand by what Mr.Enter said when he reviewed the episode, (well it was in a countdown about Patrick.) plus I'm still mad that he lost his channel for NO good reason!

Indeed. The copyright claims are getting annoying. Hopefully he get his account back.

Okay, did you watch the episode yourself and form your own opinion on it that you just happen to agree with him on? Or do you just completely follow everything he says without judging it for yourself.

Also, he uploaded videos with lots of copyrighted content and arguably went past the limits of fair use since he tended to use almost a whole episode, his channel wasn't deleted for no reason.

Personally, I hope he doesn't. :P

Why? I respect your opinion/choice :P
