The Season 5 Shorts. A cool (imo) way to change up the format of each 22 minute segemts (one full 11 minute episode, one 7 minute episode, one 4 minute episode). Some shorts are really liked by many people. Others however, are bashed and hated by a ton of the fanbase. My favorite short is "SpongeBob Vs. The Patty Gadget". An awesome short with great rhyming and narration by Patchy. My most hated short is "Waiting". One of the ultimate "try-to-care" episodes. Pointless, boring, and aggravating.
 
I might go with Donut of Shame for best though Patty Gadget is close.

Worst is definitely Waiting.
 
Best- Patty Gadget. We all know why.
Worst- pat no pay. Just pointless.
 
Best: Patty Gadget. Great rhyming and narration by Patchy.
Worst: Waiting. Just mostly filler, and we get SpongeBob crying.
 
Best: SpongeBob Vs. the Patty Gadget (A creative use of the short format)
Worst: Waiting (Dull and frustrating)
 
Best: SB vs. The Patty Gadget. I love how it has the Dr. Suess-esque rhyming, and I love the story of this episode.
Worst: Waiting. Very boring, and we get the sound of Spongebob crying for much of the episode.
 
Best: The Donut of Shame/Patty Gadget

Worst: Good ol' Whatshisname, which is just terrible. There is nothing good to say about it.
 
Best: money talks and sb vs the patty gadget
Worst: pat no pay and waiting
 
Best: The Krusty Plate
Worst: Pat No Pay
