Avatar isn't Japanese, it's American made. The creators aren't even Japanese!!! So it sounds a little offending.

yeah i moved this to the art and entertainment section. i think it will be dumb. i dont really care for that kind of show anyway

Yeah it looks awsome to me. We got former Invader Zim Staff workign on that show. And there is no way it'll replace Spongebob. SB is it's own thing and shows like his are rare and in High demand. Plus a show like Avitar is so well made the bugdet for it won't last long.
Nothing's gonna take SpongeBob's place. <_< And I don't see this or any of the other new shows going anywhere. Danny Phantom, which premired last April, was heavily promoted by Nick and hasn't really gone anywhere in terms of ratings and other stuff. I think this'll trun out the same.

Erm...well anyways, as for this new Nick show we all do know very well that it can't take over Spongebob in any shape or form but we can't predict if this show is gonna be successful or not either. Maybe it'll attract a lot of toddlers and lil' kids instead but probably not teens, college students or grown-ups or it could be a little of both - who knows.
But I have to agree with ya'll, Spongebob will never be defeated by any other Nick toon, new and old and hopefully it'll stay like that till our dying day ^-~
