Do you think that the credits started to get a bit choppy starting with Lost in Bikini Bottom?

No, I haven't noticed, but what I do notice is that Truth or Square, It's a SpongeBob Chirstmas, and every episode in season 9a, the titlecard doesn't fade in and out when it transitions to the opening credits, it just jump cuts.

I've also noticed season 1 episodes gradually fade to black at the end of the episode, which is due to cel animation, and since season 1 episodes were animated and edited the analog way.

Though it cuts to black on the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episodes, Fools in April, The Paper, Neptunes Spatula, Help Wanted (Though in the 1999 version, it stays on the shot of The Krusty Krab for a little longer than the 1997 cut), Reef Blower, Tea at the Treedom, and others.

It’s still a gradual cut to black
