In this image, the boats look like they were pasted onto the original ocean image and not portrayed by actual actors in actual boats. The fishing lines also look strange.

This had to be one of the VERY few scenes in season 1 that were digitally edited too, most of season 1's editing was done the analog way on flatbeds and using weird optical effects, which is primitive even for the late 90's.

Here's the storyboard for Party Pooper Pants. The invitation scene and the song aren't included, which proves they were produced separately. This explains why the actual episode has normal animation and the song and invitation scene are markerbob.

The camera is more still in season 2 and 3, in the Toon Boom seasons, the camera pans and zooms in and out a few times each episode. In season 2 and 3 they use more jump cuts.
