After Creed's splitup, bandmates Mark Tremonti and Scott Phillips have met up with former Creed bassist Brian Marshall and former Mayfield Four lead singer Myles Kennedy to form Alter Bridge. Their debut album, One Day Remains is going to be released the 10th of August. You can hear their first single, Open Your Eyes, here. The song will also be released on the upcoming Madden NFL game.
I've heard the song and it's pretty good. Scott Stapp always was my least favorite part of the band, as he paid attention to his image more than his music, but i've always liked Mark Tremonti and his combination with a lead singer who would care less about self-image should be pretty outstanding. Watch out for Alter Bridge :lol:
