So, I just got this DVD yesterday (wanted it ever since it came out but my nearest Walmart always lasts longer to bring new DVDs) and I have a question and complaints about it. Sure you can't do much about the complaints but maybe you can help me out with the question:
um, were these episodes randomly selected or what? :P I mean, what the heck is Truth or Square doing there? also I wasn't expecting Squid's Visit and To SquarePants or not to SquarePants to be there since they aired not so long ago. Or is this the real order or they're just crazy and put it like that without caring?
So, complaints, first of all, I was a bit disappointed it didn't include that little letter that the season DVD's usually bring. The first 3 season DVDs had letters from Stephen Hillenburg, and from season 4 on it was a letter from Patchy the Pirate (proving that Steven doesn't give a burned barnacle about SB anymore) but this DVD didn't even include a letter from the guy that sweeps up! what gives? And the cover too, it just seems like they're not even trying to make good DVD's anymore. The special features, sure the SpongeBob History Song is pretty cool, but most of those 7 shorts are recycled (3 SB vs. The Big One ones) and it was just too little. OK, one more, the menu, no clips from the episodes, that's one of the things that makes me excited when I pop in a DVD for the first time, but they just ignored that feature.
Am I the only one disappointed?
