They ruined Sonic X. And One Piece. AND Shaman King.
 
4kids ruined One Piece and Shaman King. One Piece was meant to be violent, not a kids show. They bombed it big time.
I think Pokemon had some swearing in it too, but they made it into a kids show.

Yeah I know. Like, for instance, they took out sanji's cigarette and replaced it w/ a lollipop. Stupid, I know. But luckily FUNImation would make sanji have his cigarette again (Even though they were originally going to keep his lollipop from 4Kids).

of course, why would they name a channel block after a horrid anime-dubbing company (even if foxbox was created by 4kids)?

4Kids is racist against Japan, so why use a TV show from japan if you're just gonna make kids believe that America created anime?

What about Al Kahn, the chairman & CEO of 4Kids (Whoops, I mean 4Crap Boringsville)? What do you think about him?

Seriously, FUNimation took over One Piece. Even if it's rated TV-PG (although the episode that was aired last weekend was TV-Y7 cuz there was no violence in it, but still, it was dubbed by Funi), kids are gonna learn what the meaning of One Piece (And not just OP, but any anime) TRULY is. :cry:

No, they don't. They just edit all the Japanese stuff to make it an AMerican show. Plus, in the credits, it says that it's made in Japan.

Most, if not all of ToT, including me, calls it "4Krap." Quite a fitting name.
 
Rocky, do not triple post because we aren't responding in the topic. Have patience. ;)

4Kids isn't so bad. That's why it's called 4Kids... Japanese shows aren't as "suitable for children" as American shows. They are just trying to make the viewers more welcomed to the show. If Mario was by 4Kids, I would have to admit, I would expect some changes, but nothing so major like that YouTube video you sent us. After all, 4Kids didn't change anything for the shadow games of Yu-Gi-Oh! (you know, death?)
 
Things like this make me glad PUSA and TAG took over the dubbing for Pokmon. ;)

Actually, 4Kids does suck becaus they dub anime that ISN't supposed to be for kids, and they edit the episodes so much sometimes that things don't make sense in it.

Not really, since they make Japanese characters American in it.
