Easily my favorite episode of SpongeBob. My mom used this episode as a way of getting me to try other foods. And it worked.

I do like this episode a lot. The banned scene probably would have freaked me out had I seen it when I was younger, so I don't really mind that it was taken out. I was pretty young when this episode came out so I don't remember that scene. Looking back, it is actually pretty funny. Thinking about how Mr. Krabs was so cheap that the only alarm system he has is a bucket of gas that if someone breaks in, they'll burn the whole place down. Anyhow, really funny episode. Especially Spongebob's face when he finds out Squidward loves Krabby Patties.

I completely agree! It's interesting how our perspective on certain scenes can change as we grow older. The humor in Mr. Krabs' cheap alarm system is definitely hilarious in hindsight. And Spongebob's reaction to Squidward's love for Krabby Patties was priceless. Overall, a really funny episode!

That's awesome! It's always fun to discover new things about our favorite episodes. It's a shame that the deleted scene was cut, but at least you got to enjoy it growing up. I agree, this episode is fantastic and definitely ranks high on my list too!
