Sorry everyone but I wasn't a fan. The trees were huge jerks and the humor is terrible.

It was pretty good. A unique idea and we haven't gotten much Sandy this season. 7.5/10
 
This episode was alright. Not anything special. Just a simply good episode. Not as good as most post-284 episodes though.
 
This episode was just average. I thought a few jokes were funny (I actually laughed at the "I'm offended!" line) but a majority of this episode was just boring. I don't have much to add, it's a very bland episode that I don't have any strong feelings for.

Finally my good sis Sandy has an episode for herself because I don’t know what’s been going on, but why has she not been a major character in literally any episode of this season??? Someone’s going to have to explain that to me immediately. I like that this episode begins with a bunch of our main characters hanging out at Sandy’s treedome eating pancakes, it’s cute and gives those sitcom vibes that I haven’t pointed out in a while. It’s nice to see even Squidward enjoying himself as well (til he gets stung by a jellyfish lol).

This episode shares a similarity with “Christmas Who?” in which Sandy shares a new holiday from up above with her sea-dwelling friends. And this time, I’m with Patrick, because I don’t really know what Arbor Day is either. So I of course looked it up before continuing to watch the episode. Neat holiday. Anyway, Sandy tasks all her friends with growing some genetically engineered trees (genetically engineered so that they can grow underwater, of course). That’s kinda sweet, actually. Very cute. Very wholesome. Especially with the introduction of the talking element. I like talking to my plants. Honestly, I need to be a better plant parent, I feel like I gotta trim one of them or something…he’s looking a bit lopsided. Oh well.

We then spend some time with everyone enjoying their little trees. I love that the show is leaning back into Mrs. Puff having some kind of criminal history, I think it’s a very fun part of her character. Mr. Krabs making his tree the complaints box is actually hilarious. And poor Squidward’s tree has to deal with his awful clarinet playing. And Patrick’s tree deals with brainrotting television. Well so far I only think SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff have the right idea with their trees (I don’t think Mr. Krabs’ tree will enjoy being yelled at LMAO).

And then the trees start talking. Well I’ll admit, this makes the cuteness factor goes away. SpongeBob’s tree reminds me very much of Coop from “Drive Happy”, just complaining complaining complaining with no end in sight. Literally all the trees are kinda jerkwads. And dang poor Mrs. Puff, trusting her tree and ended up getting ratted out to the police lol. All the trees end up terrorizing Bikini Bottom, and of course everyone blames Sandy. I can’t have one nice thing, can I? Thankfully, Sandy has a plan. A plan that literally involves turning the trees into furniture. Especially since this came after SpongeBob and Sandy looking affronted at Squidward’s suggestion to burn the trees alive, I gotta admit, I was shocked. But it was a funny sort of shocked, because it brought that shocked laughter to me. This is delightfully morbid…at least until we learn that this doesn’t kill the trees. Hmmm okay. They didn’t commit enough for me lol.

“Arbor Day Disarray” was a pretty good episode. I think it kind of lost me in the middle when the trees started rebelling, because it lasted too long and like literally every tree was a jerk for no reason. Like we could’ve made this about the trees being treated like second-class citizens (especially considering the ending of the episode), but nah. I’m mostly kidding about that by the way, I wouldn’t expect this show to do that. No but seriously, the middle was a bit dull, which dragged this episode down for me.

Pretty alright episode. The plot was lame and some of the jokes fell flat, but there were some funny ones too. The trees especially got a few chuckles out of me.
