Yeah, I cannot wait to see some of the ones you listed- ESPECIALLY Transformers, Cars, Captain Underpants, and Despicable Me. KCA's 2018 might be on my watch list- unless there's better cartoons.

I read A Dog's Purpose this year and wondered how it would turn out as a film. It was a very excellent book. Might be interesting, but I just don't know how they'd pull it off with the storytelling...

Captain Underpants I'm still shocked is happening, especially because the author used to be so against merchandising or commercializing any of his characters. I might just have to check this out for nostalgia value just because my sister and I were so into them when we were younger.

Also, another Star Wars? Seriously? Is this going to be a Christmas tradition now? :P

For that matter, can we just try going a year without sequels and see what happens with Hollywood creativity and originality?

This has been my Movie Thought Post of the Day.

movies I'm definitely gonna see

Split
John Wick: Chapter 2
The Lego Batman Movie
Kong: Skull Island
Gifted
The Fate of the Furious
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2
Alien: Covenant
Wonder Woman (I know trusting DCEU sounds tricky and I'm gonna stay skeptical but darn it, it's freaking Wonder Woman and they got her right in BvS)
Despicable Me 3
Cars 3
Spider Man: Homecoming
War for the Planet of the Apes
Blade Runner 2049
Kingsmen: The Golden Circle
Thor: Ragnarok
Justice League (this doesn't mean I'm actually looking forward to this one. The trailer was just bland and unexciting, I hate that they didn't cast blonde actors for Aquaman and Flash and this version of Flash looks more like Peter Parker of Captain America: Civil War than actual Barry Allen)
Star Wars: Episode VIII

Movies I may see if I hear good stuff in them.

Beauty and the Beast
The Lego Ninjango Movie
Insidious Chapter 4
The Greatest Snowman

I find it hilarious you have more faith in the Jumanji reboot thing and the new DOAWK film than Captain Underpants or Spider Man Homecoming.
