    SpongeBob SFX

Most of us, when talking about our favorite porous freak, talk about the funny jokes, the hilarious facial expressions, the catchy and infectious production and original music used in every episode, but do we ever talk about the SFX? Those wacky, wonderful, funny, sometimes even creepy zips...

    SpongeBob SFX

Do any of us really pay attention to the SFX in our favorite cartoons? The weird, wacky, funny, sometimes creepy zips, zaps, bangs, bings, boings, sproings, plops, whomps, skids, head conks, poofs, pings, dings, clangs or bangs which we all hear probably at least once a day on the telly, the...

UglyDolls Since I used to love UglyDolls some years ago, I naturally had to check out this trailer for an animated film based on them slated to come out this summer, and I have to say, this actually looks kinda decent. Not too crazy about the song, but visually...

Movies, shows, etc. you think will be classics 30 years from now

What films, shows, games, or books that came out recently (in the last ten or so years) do you think will be fondly remembered about 20 or 30 years from now and considered as classics? (SpongeBob excluded) Here's what I think: Movies: Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy Bohemian Rhapsody...

Which music tracks would you like to hear on SpongeBob?

Title says it all. Which not-yet used APM tracks would you like to hear on SpongeBob one day? Here's a small list of mine (Heads up: may consist of mostly archive tracks): Ask Me a Question- Ronald Binge Burlesque- Jack Shaindlin Chacksfield Polka- Frank Chacksfield Chase Through the Jungle-...

    Happy Birthday Walt Disney!

If he was still alive, he'd be one-hundred-sixteen years young. If you were ever unfrozen from that chamber in the bowels of Disney Studios and took a second or two to read this, thank you for all the wonderful animation.

    Favorite "classic" television shows?

By "classic", in case you're confused, I refer to 1950s to 1990s. My personal favorites from this era would be "Rocky and Bullwinkle", "Animaniacs", "ALF", "Leave It to Beaver", and "Gilligan's Island".

    Parker Plays

I don't know if anyone else here watches this show, but it's the only DXP show I actually watch on a regular basis. Pretty weird at times, yet I still love it. (Heck, the intro describes it best: "a guy so weird but you can't stop watching him").

    Between the Lions

"Can't... hold... on... much... LONGER!!!!" Anyone else remember this great show? Used to love this show when I was a wee lad, and just rediscovered it through some old DVDs I had of it. Still pretty decent, and sometimes pretty funny!

    Early Pixar Animation Tests

Thought I'd share these neat test animations for a few of Pixar's movies. They offer an interesting look at how the characters looked like prior to the final film. Enjoy! Toy Story: Note how Buzz is smaller than in the final movie, has a red outfit...

Why did you choose your avatar (revived)?

I chose mine since I liked the goofy expression Wendy was making here. Admittedly, it's not as outrageous or funny as the faces on SpongeBob or Ren and Stimpy, but it's still a cool face.
