that would actually be a semi-decent ending
other eps I think would've made a good finale are
Christmas Who?- end with an xmas ep
Band Geeks- squidward finally wins
Squid on Strike- the show ends with them working for krabs, forever
Krusty Krab Training Video- would've been a pretty meta way to go out
Plankton's Army- final plankton scheme

I think it would be too depressing and the show would end to early, considering the fact that Dying For Pie is a season 2 episode.

Dying for Pie would be an inappropriate way to end SpongeBob.

I think if SpongeBob were to retire or get his boating license, then that would be a great way to end the cartoon.
