Just because a movie is hated by critics or failed at the box office doesn't mean everyone will dislike it, and I'm here to prove that.
Box Office Failure - Xanadu (1980)
This is easily my favorite 80s movie and probably in my top 15 movies of all time. It's an acquired taste, but I love it. This was the reason I had a crush on Olivia Newton John as a kid (mind you, this was like in 2007, so I had no idea how old Xanadu was by that point).
Critical Failure - High School Musical (2006)
This movie is cheesy in all the right ways for me; the songs are fun, the characters, while somewhat cliché, are enjoyable, and the performances aren't bad; some are pretty darn good, actually. Its not just Vanessa Hudgens that makes me watch this movie. :P
