ICv2:

Abrams will publish comic collections and an art book featuring the animated world of SpongeBob SquarePants, a company spokesperson told ICv2 at San Diego Comic-Con. Three hardcover collections of the comics published under the United Plankton Pictures brand and distributed by Bongo Comics will be released by Abrams. Abrams also plans an Art of SpongeBob book for Spring 2017.

WELL ITS ABOUT TIME

No, but they said at Comic-Con last year that they're working on some.

That was almost a year ago so it can't be long now, unless they changed their mind.
but anyway I'll probably pick up some of these for myself just for the collectibility, even though I have all the paper issues. The art book I'm really excited for though. :whoo:

Finally! I've been trying to get more of the comics, so this is really awesome. And the art book sounds cool too.

This is great! I have all the individual comics, but to have them in Volumes with multiple comics in one book will be more convenient, I can't wait! Are the comic collections going to be released this year or Spring 2017 with the art book? :)

I really like the sound of a SpongeBob Art Book. It's not like Nickelodeon hasn't been getting a lot more interested in showing the public early SpongeBob sketches/designs. I mean, you can easily look up the original SpongeBob Season 2-era model sheet on the Nick Animation website, among other cool things.

Well... I could see this to catch up on things. Otherwise, I'm not too familiar.

Oh, and also... aren't they the publishers of Greg Heffley's journal?

ICv2:

I need both, as i only have issues 7-9, 17-20, 22-32, 34, 48-50, 54, 56-58, and FCBD 2013, 2014, and 2016, and Super-Giant Swimtacular 2014 and 2016, this is great news for me so i can get my hands on the older issues that I have missed, and the art book, hopefully it includes some BG art from the show i could use :D

I can't wait for these to come out!

I already have the Gone Jellyfishing, Mermaid to Measure and Fool's Gold comic books, but more would be fantastic.

I will definitely be picking these up on release. I only have a few comics and I'd like to store them in a less fragile format, not to mention adding more to the collection.

Six months until the first book, though...
