Your dreams and/or nightmares
Most people are afraid of something that isn't scary to most people at some point in their lives. When I was little I was afraid of a certain type of leaf because it had "pointy edges". What about you guys? Any really weird fears?

I used to be scared ::dolphin noise::less by this vibrating Ernie thing. We got rid of it so I don't have to suffer anymore.

I know this is a somewhat common fear, but for the longest time (until last year), I was so horrified by Splaat (you know this guy from the second Klasky-Csupo logo).

To the point where I had recurring nightmares as a little kid and had to avoid watching "Wet Painters/Krusty Krab Training Video" (and Nickelodeon altogether) for a while. I remember being furious when I found out he was getting his own web series.

He doesn't faze me anymore, but he's still very creepy.

I remember back when I was 5 that we had a doll in my bedroom (it was my sister's doll but it was creepy and it was hanged in somewhere in the bedroom and yeah I used to share room with her back then) and soo I was a little bit freaked out at that time of this doll BUT then my sister (she was 11-12 at that time) she understood that I am a little bit of freaked out of that doll and she said to me that she will eat me while sleeping and stuff like that -_- and then I was really really really scared from this doll, I was SOO scared that we got rid of it..(and this doll was expensive :P )

Probably not something that only I was scared by when I was little, but when I was young, the scene in Mickey's Christmas Carol where
Pete laughs maniacally while Scrooge is trying to escape being sent to Heck
scared the *dolphin noise* out of me. It doesn't anymore, but it is still unsettling. I wasn't able to watch the whole film in one sitting until my sixth grade year because of how much that scene scared me.

I was scared of several digimon when watching Digimon back then. Megiddramon and the D-Reaper scared the heck out of me several years ago, as well as the Hirudegarn from Dragon Ball Z at the same time, and I had trouble sleeping.

Even though I am over most of them, the D-Reaper still scares me.

In our old house when I was little, there was this oddly shaped hole on the bottom of a cabinet that I really didn't like for some reason. I was also afraid of Cookie Monster at Sesame Place because I thought he might eat me- I mean, the guy ate everything on Sesame Street.

Do I have to bring up "Painty the Pirate" again?
I used to be scared of a lot of things on SpongeBob when I was little (like the hot sauce drop in "Karate Choppers" for instance), but Painty was not one of them for some reason.

the idea that one day all life itself will cease to exist and the world will turn to ash. there will be no record of us ever existing and the fact that life on earth and inevitably everywhere else began for no reason and will end for no reason. life is pointless.

similar to MatBoo's Splaat fear, i used to be scared ::dolphin noise::less by Face From Nick Jr when i was little

if you dont Know What i mean, its THIS guy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaXIL8QMDzU

i used to be soooooooooooooooooooooo scared of face when i was 2-6, i would run out of the room screaming and crying when he came on one of my Blue's Clues VHS Tapes, it got so bad that i actually got my mom to send a letter to Nick Studios Asking them to take him off the air because he was "So Scary" as my younger self would say...

obviously not scared of him now, but yeah...

I also had fear of the Viacom V of Doom. (Look it up...)
Thanks for reminding me, I'll be having nightmares for a week. -shudder- It still creeps me out for some reason. In fact I'm starting to remember a lot of logos like that invoking fear in me. So weird o__O

I was terrified of moths for a few years... I'm over it for the most part.
